It got to the point where Koeman just didn't look arsed, and was more interested in getting his golf handicap down.

Don’t agree with this, the man was an unshaven visible wreck towards the end, arguing with officials at the end of matches out of desperation.

He was definitely tactically inept and bereft of any imagination, but I think he cared a lot about succeeding in the role.
