Crap VAR, (first pen given by it btw), and a 93rd minute OG after his sub scored to put us 2 1 up isnt bad luck? Jeez.

We were shafted today. The decision totally stinks.

But the winning goal comes from how he sets us up away from home. We are wide open any time we lose posession. It was the 95th minute and our right back had ran on the overlap before we had comfortable posession. Gomes filled in and completely neglected his duties and made no effort to tackle. The left back came inside to cover and fluffed it into his own net with the wrong foot.

It's pathetic really how we are so soft. Our away performances this year have been frightening at times. They smack of a manager who hasn't a clue.

I was a bit miffed by Tony Scott’s video he posted on twitter after the game. Saying they are only human and anyone’s head would fall off after that decision. Sure be irate at it, I was myself, it’s how you bounce back from it and there was still time to do that. No disrespect, it’s Brighton !

A poor decision yes to say the least however I feel it will overshadow how unconvincing we were in compared to last week and dare I say it they wanted it more then us after the pen.

He seems a decent lad Tony although I can’t agree with a lot he says regarding Everton, it’s like I know what he’s going to say most of the time.

It’s coming to a point where I don’t care as much if he’s sacked or not or who his replacement is.

I'm quite confident we won't get relegated. The lack of wins and amount of defeats to utter dirge is concerning. But... try and enjoy your night I guess, I'm done letting Everton spoil the weekend :pint2:
So am I mate, but that is not how it should be, looking at the fixtures we have had we should be on a winning run with confidence soaring, but we are languishing in the bottom end of the table getting beat by cra p teams. It is not good mate.

It all stinks of Martinez-esque

Of course it would, such an obvious statement.

but it didn’t and we have lost 5 out of 6 and 60% of our games, that after an indifferent first season, hence people calling for his head, especially as we sacked another manager with an even better overall record for similar form.

Oh, I havnt got a problem is he is punted, even though I would prefer we didnt unless there is an upgrade in the wings. Point I was making is that we were terribly unlucky today, which he was powerless to prevent.

Ergo, he shouldnt be punted on the evidence of todays performance.

Our 'media' reps are an utter disgrace.

Scott, Kirkbride and Jones have fallen over themselves and blamed everyone bar the tea lady for Silva's poor management for near 18 months now.

They did the same with Martinez basically anyone who's foreign with a sexy name gets a pass for 3 years to be utter turd.

I will predict it now. We limp to a lower mid-table finish then sack him in the summer.

I'm usually quite good at not letting it get to me but I'm struggling tonight. Ridiculous to get this worked up over something I can't control.

I’ll give him credit where it’s due; he almost had it. Almost isn’t good enough. We shouldn’t even be debating almost. We need to win some of these convincingly.

You can only excuse so much. Sometimes you just have to win- even when the cards aren’t falling your way. He doesn’t have enough goodwill to earn my sympathy today.

They perhaps don’t want a repeat of Joe Royle and Phil McNulty
