Said there isn't more fume on here about Silva.

After Burnley there were loads , not as much now.

Is that apathy kicking in?

I'd suggest it's fatigue, it is for me anyway.

It's hard to take getting kicked in the face for as long as this, when we had so much hope not long ago.

I just get annoyed rather than angry now about losing.

I'm not sure I can take another failure after Silva, there is only so much punishment one can take.

Yes, it's called balance as we're over powered in midfield and we can't break up play on counter attacks. Especially when 4 of the attackers aren't clinical enough. It's failing when you can't score and you're conceding even though you're playing an attacking line up.

Would you say the RS play with a defensive midfield when they play Henderson, Wijanldum, Fabinho away from home? Why don't they stick Origi or Shaqiri instead of one of them?

Because they don't need that extra attacker. They just need the ball and leave the front 3 to do the damage.
Well that's half the story. the RS also have A-A & Robertson, both of whom Everton would kill to have and to say otherwise is bald-faced lying. But even beyond that, their midfield don't play a sit back defensive midfield style. Sure it helps they have VVD who's better than our 2 CBs combined, but their ball distribution and forward-moving passing are so far superior to when we trot out say, Delph/Morgan, it's honestly not funny. So we'll just agree to disagree.

These past 5 years have been hell.

In particular these last 3 have aged me.

There needs to be an inquest on why we can’t replocate our home form away from home. Maybe some type of sports psychologist because something is very wrong. Especially when the pressure is on. I still think if that penalty didn’t stand we would have got over the line

It's not like we've got Tony Hibbert and Nuno Valente on either flanks anymore to be fair, we've got fullbacks other clubs would want.

But the point was that their midfield 3s job is to do 2 things...break up play and quickly feed the front 3. That's it. Nothing fancy.

We sacrifice a midfield to feed 4 attacking players not on a par with other teams home and away. And it don't work.

He has been given enough time and money. Hopefully we have the next manager lined up already and he is gone tomorrow. I don't want the 6 week wait and the mess we had last time we changed managers but Silva must be sacked.

Correct the formation is wrong. Go for a proper 433.
