I think he is trying to set us up like a top 4 team, but the a few holes in the team which won’t allow us to play that way every game. He’s got to be a bit cuter and make us a bit more solid. We’ve got enough in attack to score but we are not showing anywhere near enough defending as a team. Especially from dead balls but everyone knows that. There’s only city that can play pure possession football and beat teams playing deep. We need to mix are play invite teams on and play more on the break. That appeared to be the pattern yesterday until siggardson come on. It slowly ground to a halt then.

He is and always was, I think he’s always had the knack of looking a better manager than he is.

Sigs is a big problem, technically he’s probably our best play but plays slow and hasn’t got any pace to speak of to drive us forward.

I agree he is playing a difficult role but he hasn’t got the guile or speed to excel in that area. He’s no David Silva. Silva doesn’t seem to have the nouse to change style or tactics during a game. Like he’s coached the team all week but cant affect the game when things aren’t going to plan.
