I don't think he will get sacked whatever happens during this season, although i do think there will be a change at the end of the season. Some of the folk on here are getting really tiresome though, like you say, you wonder why they don't go support someone else as they clearly have nothing positive to say about Everton.

They just love being miserable and constantly strive to make everybody feel the same.

Then they dress it up as ambition, I pity them, I doubt they even enjoy an Everton victory.

This isnt me being a super bloo, its just me being a normal functioning human being.

We wont be sacking a manager in a quarterfinal of a cup.

So people can either get behind Marco or go and support another team.

Hopefully the 2nd option.

Certain people will never, ever be happy supporting Everton, I dont know why they even bother.
We sacked Billy Bingham the week before a league cup semi final

16th in the table and 6 defeats in 10 games.

Only the Super Bloos could slate the fans for being fed up watching the same old crap tactics/cowardly performances.

Maybe if the manager and players got their acts together the fanbase would all be behind them.

The transition season BS was last year - this year its results business and we are floundering.

You can want Silva out mate, that's an opinion that should be respected, but you take it to Charles Manson levels.

No such thing

I don't think anyone is happy watching what is being served up at the moment, it's got nothing to do with slating other fans that's just BS mate and i have no idea why you are even mentioning it, i never even mentioned fans in my post. I just stated i don't think Silva will go anywhere during the season regardless of what happens, we just can't be sacking another manager mid season

If we were going through a rocky patch but had a manager who has shown they can get over it (like many a time under Moyes) I would be fully behind the manager.

I aint expecting title wins or demanding CL football I just want some progression on and off the field to be able to have some hope - not go into every away game knowing its a draw at best or winning 1 game knowing its going to be followed up by 2-3 defeats on the bounce.

Its just become predictable - some fans may be able to put a brave face on it but I cant go through season after season watching the current bloke mismanage a decent squad of players because "we cant keep sacking managers" or "we have to support the lads".

They want our support about time they earned it they get paid bloody well enough imo.

Im almost certain I want Silva out.

But I can wait till May, till then its just about enjoying the rare wins we get.

That's the thing Goat. I'm just about in the Silva out camp, but while he's still our manager we can still criticize him, but we should also be backing him and hoping he can turn it around because at the end of the day we all want the same thing (well most of us) to win footy games.

I said it above, at the end of the day all we want as fans is too win footy games mate, and whilst Silva is still our manager we should get behind him, not in a wanting him too stay type of way if he turns it around, or singing his name at games because I don't see him as the manager to take us forward long term (and before anyone asks, I don't know who that manager should be) We can still criticize and pick apart things he does, but it really is better for your health to not let it get you angry.

But there is the thing. You can say what you like about Silva, i agree that he is limited as hell and far more of a training ground coach than a manager/leader type but he can only work with what he has got. I actually think our squad is far from decent and very average. A number of the players brought in don't suit the prefered system, players we had already simply are not good enough. A different system under a different manager may produce different results, but we could make a change and it all backfire then we would be in trouble. We have only played 10 games and there is still 84 points to play for, we are maybe not going to break the top 6 (never where imo) but im sure we will do ok, then i do believe we will make a change during the summer.

I honestly dont think the club have a clue what they are doing mate - from owner to DOF to the manager.

I feel sorry for the fans genuinely hoping things turn around - people say I moan/am angry but its not its just apathy in that I have made peace with the current fella being useless and us finishing 10th-13th at very best this season

Only way things will change faster is if fans make their voices heard - if they dont he may well get the full season but it will be one filled with nothing but frustration and false dawns mark my words.
