Can only come to two possible conclusions with that statement, either we truly have and endless pot of money behind us (other than Moshiri) or we are being run by lunatics helmets, hope it’s not the later...

We dont have an endless pot of money.

I look back to Moshiris words when he made that comment about us having 1 window to establish ourselves.

We crapped the bed.

I keep saying that Moshiri has so far "invested" 250m into the club via interest-free loans.

Rough figures cos I cba checking atm, but with that we :

Spent around 52m on Managers
Probably the same amount on Agent Fees
Increased our wage bill from 86m to 142m
"spent" close to 400m on players

And have managed to go from 11th to 16th.

We are a banter club.

Sadly find it hard to disagree, crapped the bed we did in fine style. We’ve perversely gone backwards after spending a fortune.

Still hold on the the distinct possibility that major funds are behind him, just can’t understand why he’d blow such monies / loans given his financial success / background. I assume those loans are hard to pay back if there’s nobody there to pay them back if he did decide to bail?

Guess most of the answers we are after will come once we know where things stand on the new stadium and surrounding projects. Feels like treading water for now...

I’ve sort of come to the conclusion that the best thing for everyone is that he steadies the ship, we finish top 10 and he gets the boot at the end of the season. I don’t see us seriously being able to attract Allegri or Mourinho, so not sure who is out there at the minute worth taking a shot at. Maybe Rafael......

A dismissal at the end of the season gives Brands time to put the feelers out and try to attract someone to the club who is going to take us forward.

He has plenty of money. He can't circumvent Financial Fair Play, though, so not much he can do about that. That's why our net spend this year has been minimal. Massive loss last year, pretty close to breaking even year before, made some money the year before that, probably close to the 105M FFP over 3 years limit.

Our season in a nutshell this weekend.

If we lose again, no way back with the fixtures coming up. May scrape through November but December will ruin us , make no mistake about it.

However

Win tomorrow, especially given that spurs are struggling like us and potentially we have the games to pick up momentum ahead of December. 3 wins out of 4 and we can be up for the games and possibly come out looking better for it against the likes of Leicester United burnely and possibly a result from the Derby.

All or nothing now. If we lose tomorrow, Silva has to go. Otherwise I can't see a way back this season

The way I see it there are 3 scenarios:

1. We lose tomorrow and there is big pressure on Southampton game - a loss and he's gone

2. - we win/draw both tomorrow and southampton and he's got until January at the earliest

3. We win tomorrow then lose to Southampton which again see's his job ticking along game by game.

The pressure is on indeed

By all means want him gone, but posting crap like Merry Silva Sacking Eve is pathetically disrespectful to a guy who ok has underperformed as manager but has never once uttered a bad word about the fans

We wont be sacking a manager in a quarterfinal of a cup.

So people can either get behind Marco or go and support another team.

Hopefully the 2nd option.

Certain people will never, ever be happy supporting Everton, I dont know why they even bother.

I don't think he will get sacked whatever happens during this season, although i do think there will be a change at the end of the season. Some of the folk on here are getting really tiresome though, like you say, you wonder why they don't go support someone else as they clearly have nothing positive to say about Everton.

As usual Nostradamus surfaces pre match to impart his usual pearls of wisdom on us.
