I was on Marco’s side for a very long time indeed. Part of me still wants him to turn it around as I quite like the bloke and we’ve needed stability for too bloody long now. But it’s almost certain he won’t, and it’s got a whiff of inevitability about it now. Genuinely can’t see how he keeps his job if we lose badly today, but then that brings about a potential Allardyce situation and that hardly bares thinking about.

i can’t even warm to him, he’s irritatingly dour and uninspiring. Like Mourinho on downers.

Here’s were the problem is, the board ( moshiri ) is trying to spend to compete and getting all these managers, he thinks can push us on and they don’t to me if they get another stop gap, we truely are going backwards

Silva will be gone - another one will come in....it,s going to happen and there is nothing that you or I can do about him getting the sack or the next one they get. It,s inevitable and no longer within anyone's control .....life is short mate enjoy it because this clubs future in the short term is heading to a bad place.

They’ll hire another “experienced Premier League stalwart” like Hughes or Pardew and the club would try to spin it as a “steady-hand” to guide the club through a difficult time ala BFS. Either that, or they’ll stick Moyes, Arteta or Cahill in charge to appease a section of fans short term.

No ambition whatsoever.

Incredible that you think either of those would be employed even by our board. They are a level below even Sam Allardyce in the managerial hierarchy, genuinely two of the worst managers to ever work in football.

You've had us heading for a bad place for many years, since the early days on Kipper. Is there any positivity in your life?

For me it is too much like a repeat of the Hull fiasco. Today is another must win.

We no doubt have all made mistakes of some sort or other and held our hands up. But Silva never admits that he made any errors, never holds his hand up always some other excuse.

Must win again sat in 17th whilst Sheffield United are 6th..absolutely embarrassing and I don’t want him here any longer ,they should be ashamed of themselves

Big Nev makes a point in his column that sacking Silva will not solve it, it was the poor signings (especially under the later years of RM, RK and BFS) but can Silva bring about a change like HK did and turn it round? That is what troubles us.

It’s like the witches of Macbeth on here this morning.

Never change.

Three weird sisters on a heath......

'When shall we three meet again?'
'In thunder lightening or in rain'
'When the hurly burleys done'
'When the battles lost...or won'
'And were's the place'
'Upon the heath'
'And there to meet with......MACBETH !!!!'

played by Moshiri, Kenwright and Brands.
