TBH how VAR is who knows, all that is needed is a bit of common sense, it’s use to be was a hand ball intensional or was it impossible for the player to move out of the way quick enough. The ball brushed Minas head and within inches brushed Alli’s hand. Imo even coming from an Everton fan that wasn’t a penalty nor was minas tackle on son, so from my view VAR did get it right, but got the sending off wrong, I hate VAR the stoppages ruins the game.

Why did var call it back look at it for 3 minutes and then no penalty.

...big challenge for him now losing the creativity of a Gomes. He needs to find a solution that works, it really is down to him, it’s why managers are paid so much.

If he can't do it with his star players it's back to Snides and co - instead of using the youth in the under 23s - Unsworth is not prem material, but tbh he's got more gumption and passion than Silva.....
