2019/20 Marco Silva

He has enough quality in this squad to be pushing 5/6th in the table the way the league is now, especially with the run of fixtures we’ve had. Only Leicester have grabbed the opportunity of the league being so poor, and there’s no reason why we shouldn’t have.
Unreal assessment.

I view these players for what they are: bang average with no bottle.

Dont let the price tag fool you. That was just other club's mugging Brands off.

So Brands told them all not to have any clear goal scoring chances till the 97th minute? To not show any urgency before or after said goal to actually try win the game after Son was sent off? To not kick up more of a fuss over 2 penalty claims or use our record against Spurs as a defence like Silva done after the game?

He’s bought this manager a squad of good players who are far better man to man than to be sitting near the bottom of the table, and that is down to poor management from someone who’s been living a charmed life for 10 months
No, no, no, no, no.

Lack of CM options might finally mean a formation change to 4-4-2 or 5-3-2 with wing backs. Might be a bit more defensive, but might make the team stronger & get us some points on the board.

Silva’s got control of his own destiny from here

No, no, no, no, no.

The players are better than what they are showing. I’m not sure many would argue that. Silva should be doing better than he is.

But there is not a chance the players we have are top 8 quality. Wolves, Leicester and West Ham will all finish above us, as well as the usual six - we’ve got too many passengers and our ‘good’ players are nowhere near as good or consistent as we like to think they are.

Nothing to do with price tags!

The players we have would walk in to 2/3rds of the teams in the league! I agree with the ‘no bottle’ comment though. A decent manager would have us top 6 with players we have now

Yep.

Value wise, £ for £ spent, we have been completely had off by selling clubs.

I've said it loads of times: Digne is the only player I;d keep out of the lot of them in terms of value for money. Bernard may have cost nothing, but he's on a stupendous wage and that is also poor business.

Oh boy.

No, no, no, no, no.

Yes, Yes, Yes. Digne, Richarlison, Bernard, Gomes all good players, hell you rate Lucas as our best player. Mina has shown more this season that he’s in that bracket, Gbamin would have been but for a freak injury, Iwobi has been 50/50, Kean has been dreadfully mismanaged. The only misfire has been Delph

This isn’t even about players with you though, you’ve had it in for Brands since before he was even at the club, I dare say you would have been the same with Moshiri’s other choice Monchi all because you’re stuck in an old school mentality and don’t like the DoF model at clubs
