It's scapegoating at it's finest to say that Silva is the only problem at this club and we'll be fine and dandy after he goes.

Brands and several of the signings over the last few windows haven't been what they're cracked up to be, FM needs to show some leadership here.
It won't be fine and dandy after Silva gets fired but it'll be the first correct step, The board need to hire someone with a bit of credibility and not some chancer.

What I vaguely remember was that when Hull were certain to go down did'nt Siva just pack in or was he pushed?

What I remember is Hull being 2 points above relegation zone with 5 games remaining.

Beating Watford and drawing against Southampton, 3 games left they're still 2 points clear with Sunderland, Palace and Spurs left. Sunderland are dead and buried already down. Palace are 4 points ahead of Hull but with very hard games left. Below Hull is Swansea and 'Boro, 2 and 6 points behind respectively. A win against Sunderland will put them in a good chance to stay up and pull away from Swansea and catch Palace, who have United and City in their last 3 games as well as Hull.

They lose 0-2 to Sunderland at home, Swansea beat us 1-0, Palace are thrashed 5-0 by United making it 3 loses on the bounce.

It's still in Hull's hands despite the embarrassment against Sunderland, a win against Palace to drag them into it and draw against Spurs might see them ok.

They are battered by Palace 4-0 away. It's all over. Swansea beat Sunderland.

Last game of the season they're destroyed 1-7 at home by Spurs. Absolutely no bottle or fight in them.

Swansea won 4 of their last 5, including a draw against United. Palace lost 4 of their last 5 baring the win against Hull and some how they stayed up despite only being 4 points ahead of Hull. Hull lose their last 3 games.

Pathetic, absolute loser.

Ha ha!

The mad thing, that spell at hull where he "nearly kept them up" seems to be his career highlight to date and what people trot out when they are defending the indefensible from him.

I remember the Palace game vividly and thinking this guy has no fight. They were losing and he just stood on the touchline basically sulking. Pathetic!

I agree
As mentioned i want rid, as for me his football is one dimensional and predictable
I do feel he has taken a job that is above him, but guess it was to big a job to decline
Over the last month or so my initial annoyance of the players has turned to utter dislike. As a manager Silva has little or no chance of turning this round, as this bunch of players are not willing to fight and work for him or US
Brands has to take accountability as well, as not buying any leaders is appalling

Overall though Silva has to take the blame due to boring tactics and not getting the players to work hard
The frighteneing thing for me is that they seem to want Silva AND STILL CANT PRODUCE.

I think that's a very bad sign for any incoming manager.

people are just writing Wilder off without even looking into his managerial career.

yet the same people want to stick with marco done nothing silva

if chris wilder was from croatia and called christov wilderzinski people would creaming their keks at the thought of us hiring him

Trouble is if you take Wilder you get Alan Knill as well. oops ! And can you see our centre halves overlapping ?

These players are throwing him under the proverbial bus, but also letting a fan base down who are trying to be supportive as possible

The blame has to be proportional, but usually the manager pays the ultimate penalty

I still think he is out of his depth, and a foot on his head isn’t helping him

I think for all concerned it is better he leaves

But so should others

I'm not going to put much effort into defending him. My only axe to grind here is the Dutch fraud copping hardly any flak.
