I'd have thought manager of one of those clubs was a nice little position to see him into retirement. I mean, who better is he holding out for in all honesty?
He will come back here on a short term contract and then get a 4 year deal for getting us to our rightful position
Well, he did manage the PL champions and former CL winners, so he has the pedigree.I'm 99% certain he's applied for the Bayern job and is fully expecting his phone to ring any minute now.

*chuckles*.
Welcome aboard the silva bus...I dont defend Silva now. I just know he's only half the problem.
Still dont understand what the fuss is about;
GK: Pickford / Lossl
Pickford has been very average this season
RB: Coleman/Sidibe
Coleman is finished and him playing has affected results. Sidibe is still getting used to the team and league.
CB: Mina/Holgate/Keane
Mina is class, Keane is awful so Holgate is the only option next to Mina. Those two need a run of games.
LB: Digne
Class.
CM: Gomes/Gbamin/Schneiderlin/Delph/Delph
First choice midfield out.
AM: Iwobi/Sigurdsson
Sigurdsson is dross and Iwobi needs a season
WF: Richarlison/Bernard/Walcott
Richarlison is class. Bernard decent and Walcott awful
CF: Kean/DCL/Tosun
Kean and DCL need games this season, Tosun in the bin
No new manager would be able to come in and turn this into a top 6 team...and funnily enough we should be joint 6th now but for VAR in the past 2 games. If we were 6th you wouldnt be posting negativity.
The fact is that he needs at least;
CB + RB + CM + RF = 4 starting players now and that doesnt even account for injuries.
Nothing to salvage. We were never finishing in the top 6 to begin with. 7th is an, if-you're-lucky, European spot. And we all know what happens when we go and play crap teams in Europe - they embarrass us. So for me, it's either finish top 6, or just don't get relegated. We're also-rans and have been for over 2 decades. It's not changing any time soon.We are losing Saturday you just know it. In a way I want to rip off the plaster we need to sack Marco to salvage anything this season .
at this point nobody is expecting that , as silva has ruined any chance of that.
but there are plenty of managers out there who would get us at least 7/8th
Samuel Allardyce got us to 8th with a squad far far far far worse than what we have here.
silva has us going down as it stands as he is a clueless whopper
But for VAR against Brighton + Spurs we would be 6th.
So...?
no no no..
how many other teams have had dodgy var decisions go against them this year.. if every decision got put correct the table wouldn't move much.
the fact that this is all you have to hold on to as to why we are so crap under silva is completely laughable.
god sake man
People are discussing red rejects. End of. Grinds my gears reds coming on here pretending to be blue.grinds my gears the online 'super blue' these days. Nobody is getting starry eyed at all, people are discussing who is the best man for the job. Believe it or not, some people can see beyond any LFC connections & don't act like kids because they want the best for Everton. If Benitez was the man they went for, I would get behind him & he is a top coach. I don't want Silva to fail because it means obviously Everton is failing but I like many others feel it is a matter of time which is a shame
