Exactly. You said if we got a new manager we would go backwards and he would be lumbered with another managers players that we can't offload, Rogers makes a mockery of that? If you get the right manager he can get the best out the players the excuse that they 'aren't his players' isn't good enough for me.

You missing the point. Our last three managers left the club with undesirable players who we can't rid for love or money. The only redeeming feature of Silva is that he hasn't bought a bad player yet. We need two or three transfer windows to ensure we have a squad to compete in the top 6. I'm pretty certain Rodgers would have struggled with this Everton side.

He would have lot more points than Silva has won.

Ok I agree with some of that Koeman/Walsh/Martinez put us back and yes we still have a lot of squad building/dead wood clearing to do. This is down to Brands. However I do believe Silva should be at least midtable with what he has and if you get the right coach he could do better. I never said Rodgers or anyone else could transform us into top six or top four contenders straight away. I used Rodgers as an example of a coach who came in and improved a squad, I said a good coach can get the best out of a set of players regardless of whether he bought them or not. Currently Silva isn't.

An article in the Daily Mail by Dominic King has said that David Moyes and Mark Hughes would be under consideration for the job should we sack Silva.

Honestly. This club might as well fold. Imagine the board still trying to claim we’re ambitious.
OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH MARCO SILVA, SILVA IN.
