I definitely didn't say we'd get nothing from them, just said things were going to get worse given such a tough run of games. Not the point.
I was responding to the comment we would ger nothing in the games against them in December.

He's talking about my original commentI definitely didn't say we'd get nothing from them, just said things were going to get worse given such a tough run of games.
Agreed. The ultimate would be Simeone, but will never happen. We need to be blood & thunder like the 80's. It's what gets the crowd going - Dogs of War but will talent. Imagine Simeone and Diego Costa upfront - thats what I was dreaming of before we got Koeman!
Was alright that tbf
not quite sure where to put this but this thread seems as good as any. make of it what you will, but always interesting to read blues stuff from a neutral, knowledgeable source.
Good article that and I find myself in agreement with its conclusion.

Did you see on Saturday when Davies went down and he was screaming for him to get up. Then the physio team was about to go on and he shouted at them to get back. Why he can’t show that passion throughout the game baffles me, especially when we go behind besides sitting in the bench sulking. The players like Silva and I think the notion that they have turned on him is a bit silly. However, I don’t think he is an inspirational guy and it shows with our abysmal record from behind. He needs to find that fire somewhere- or at least a better tactical sense against the lower sides.
can statsbomb please explain why we are incapable of winning a game when we go behind
That was so weird from Silva. Namely because we should have been wasting time and I think Davies was legitimately cramping a bit. But yeah, I agree with the sentiment that he needs to become more of a leader on that touchline. I should add that I want Marco to get on our players about diving. Not because it isn’t a part of the game, but our players are terrible at it and they squander great opportunities by hitting the deck. That was so weird from Silva. Starting to feel the heat, would be my guess...
