Not sure if it's been shared anywhere else but just saw an article showing that in the same fixtures from last season, we have actually won 2 more points this season.

So in that sense, Silva has taken us forward.

Probably true but also a bit meaningless tbh as you play all of the teams every season apart from promoted and relegated teams etc and results and outcomes commonly vary from season to season. You could also do a comparison and say that after the first 12 premier league games last season we were 9th in the table on 19 points with a +4 goal difference and so on that comparison Silva has taken us backwards from last season.

The only thing that has any meaning is the current position and points and we need to do a lot better than we have done. Here's hoping we can put a decent run together. If we do, then we can completely turn the season round.

Far from convinced mind but will be made up if we do.

Gonna try and defend Silva a bit here and blame more the players and decisions to go against us. I think the fact expected points has us 5th just shows at a glance that we've been unlucky. A big part of this stat is that expected goals conceded has us at third least behind Liverpool and man city and if you actually think about the goals we've conceded this season it makes sense , all three goals at Brighton should never have been goals , even the totenham game we just passed them onto goal. The players really aren't helping themselves (or Silva) and neither has Var, what a joke that has been. We have also been so unlucky with the injuries which Silva can't be blamed for. Basically I think we should stick with Silva because i think whovever comes in won't do better right now.

We’ve ran out of players to give a rallying cry, now moved onto ex players.

I notice BK is nowhere to be seen, no doubt if we win the Derby he’ll suddenly appear.

It was Kirkbride yesterday using Moyes as an example to cherish stability.

Whole club is a cesspit at present - propaganda everywhere trying to brainwash the Everton fans into accepting mediocrity.

All I'll say is if Moshiri is happy spending £100+ million a season and posting record losses to rack up nothing but 8th-15th place finishes in the table then he's dafter than I first thought.

Something has to give - the top 6 transfer budget or the underperforming manager.

Unless the players down tools as per the assassination of Martinez there should be enough in the squad to avoid a relegation dogfight in which case give him till the end of the season ..... unless Jose rings up saying he's buying a place in Formby
