2019/20 Marco Silva

I think he's gone by Monday but I don't think it will change a thing.

We don't have a team, we have 11 players. It's been that way, with the odd brief exception, since Moshiri took over. We are paying too much, for mediocre players, chasing a dream. We are basically Newcastle before their funding tap got turned off.

We are stuck in limbo. In many ways the money we have is a curse, it prevents us from slowly and methodically building a good team - instead we have to 'push on' and 'challenge'. We are the lottery winner who after the big win sinks in discovers they were happier before.

If Moshiri met with the board very shortly after the match it can only mean one thing really and that is that he has been sacked. They certainly would not have met to give him more time. An announcement could very well be imminent, maybe even tonight but if not tomorrow at the latest.

Looking very much like his time is finally up thank feck. Only about 2 months too late.

If sacked they better have someone waiting to sign on the dotted line because we don’t need to be seeing someone like Hughes walking through the door although I’m told it’s Moyes 110%

He cannot resign because he would lose his payout. From the board's point of view, how do they replace him? Moyes maybe, Howe maybe. The club and squad are a shambles. I was glad to be at the game after a long time away ill, but it was a display I have seen too often down the years. Sorry Marco, you have no chance here.
