He categorically did not say that. His after match comments were honest and without any attempt to disguise the bad display. He blamed fear in the players from the start and said the club must come firs in any future decision. When asked about the booing he said the fans have witnessed this sort of display before this season and he did not blame them. More or less has given up, is the way I read it. No promise of improvement and wait for the next game; he is finished and sounded like it.
That sounds more true, and I would agree with you, sounds beat and probably knows it

What more would you have to see than that 1st half against a team who have bought nobody since getting promoted and are bottom of the league?

Well I’m not really interested in being right or wrong. It comes down to your own beliefs about football. I believe trophies are won two ways, 1 money, 2. Continuity, cohesion, familiarity and building. I don’t think we will ever buy one. So the second should be the aim.

To that end, I believe and act of the belief that if you employ a manager, you buy into a philosophy for a particular period of time and then judge over the term of their contract.

The only disclaimer I put in, is if relegation is a real possibility, then all bets are off.

Else wise I back the manager. I think chopping and changing undermines too much.

I don’t live in an idealistic bubble though as I said if you loose the three facets I mention you are at a huge risk, just wouldn't be my approach.

I think it’s broader then a binary decision anyway, the context is who else can you get mid season, Davey Moyes is about the height of it until the end of the season and another summer of turmoil.

Great post. I don't agree, but I like it.

Get your head out the sand, if you think that can carry on your having a laugh, they will turn to Moyes to at least bring back some form of identity, let alone try and win us some games.
plucky little Everton mentality rears its head again.

That Coleman substitution today was one of the worst managerial decisions I've seen in a long time. Truly baffling. Showed that he has no clue what he is doing.
