Must admit I'd never heard of him before we signed him.

Hope he's good but I'll wait and give him a game or two before I pass judgement.

Loved reading this...

" Fellaini tackled him in the first 5 minutes and Gerrard did not go near him for the rest of the night. I think the tackle gave Gerrard the injury he has now. There was one point in the game when Gerrard had the ball about 35 yards from goal and Fellaini started to close him down so Gerrard panicked and twatted the ball about 8 miles over the bar. Pure visceral fear."

i cant comment much about this transfer as ive never seen him play apart from 5 minutes where he got sent off for belgium a week or 2 ago..

i know he played against the [Poor language removed] , but i refuse to watch them (except the derby) .
i also dont watch england if rooney is playing.(not that im missing much).

from what ive read he sounds good enough.
the price tag is irrelavant , he could be 0k or he could be 20 million , i dont care as long as he's a grafter.

ps does his uni-brow caterpillar freind get a slice of his pay ?

pps how about bugsy as a nick name ?- bugsy marouane :D

Utterly shocked at this one. The pub I was in last night for the weekly pub quiz had News 24 on and absolutely no news came through. Heard about the bid being rejected for Hunt and gathered it'd be like the last deadline day and we'd just get someone like Gardner who would be of no use at all. However, I am most looking forward to seeing him play. I don't think we're adequately set up to the degree I hoped we would, but still, things are looking a bit better.

Would be a good signing.

But..........

Never going to happen.

:lol::lol:

Hmmm...not to seem negative...But with that kind of money, we couldve added abit more for Moutinho, or just abit less for Fernandes :(...

...I think its a good transfer though...

agree on the fernandes part however the height is a massive factor, i would have loved manny too...

I know a little bit about this guy. Hes 20, nails, 6' 4", great engine, can tackle and can pass. He has the potential to be a great midfield player that would look the bollocks in our team.

We may see Arteta playing a more central role with this fella in with him. Thats when we can play 4-4-2.

Osman Arteta Fellaini Pienaar
Saha Yakubu
Fellaini
Osman Arteta Pienaar
Cahill
Saha Yakubu

i would like to see this

Really pleased with this signing. The much needed height and box to box player. Sad about Obinna needed the width with pace but I think this is a truely gem of a transfer. I would hope during january another morsel of good fortune will come into the team.(y)

that is all i think is missing now, we should go back in for him in jan...him and vagner love will do me nicely...and then in 3 years time when neville is beginning to find himself injured and further off the pace we can get a right back for the future :D

I'm positive he'll become an absolute hero at Everton. Watched him quite a lfew times playing for Standard Liége and he has everything to be a hit at Everton and in the Premier League. Awesome physical presence and hard as nails. Great defensive qualities and able to read the game very well. Good passing range and always poses a threat at high balls as he has good heading abilities.

Hopefully, there´s still a decent transfer kitty left for the January transfer window. If we´re able to add someone like Moutinho, Fernandes, de Guzman ect...ect, we´ll have a tremendous choice in midfield. Also hope Moyes will rekindle his interest in Victor Obinna at some time, as he would give us even more options.

*If* Moyes has money to spend in January, I think he will go for someone who can make things happen (Moutinho, Love type).

Hopefully Fellani's introduction will rectify the problems in the defence, after that someone who can crack good defenses is needed.

Absolutely.

I think that's the missing piece of the puzzle.
