For improved forum analysis if you choose the option "Fire him" could you please state for the record if you are;
  1. 29 years old and younger
  2. A wool
Thank you.
I am a wool but over 29- does living through near relegation and the Walter Smith years under qualify me to see although things could be better they could be a lot lot worse?
Scrap that I didn't chose fire him...ffs I've outed myself as an illiterate wool...

Some serious downers on Martinez. I will just put out there how much I have enjoyed watching our side and players develop under him. 'Enjoy' is the operative word as I haven't enjoyed Evertons football since Joe Royles side that came sixth and the late HK league winning teams. People might and will compare Moyes finishing positions against Martinezs but boy...what a bore that was.

I voted honestly

This was my vote

finding him wasn't hard, signing him probably was but my granny could have told you he was a good striker before he signed.
She could also tell you to start Gerry and Mirallas in the same side and switch out howard for Joel.
Loves the footie does my granny

OK but he got him to sign didn't he? And he's turned him into a monster. 30 goals in a calendar year, that's Shearer level of quality and he's spoken this week about how good Everton's training has been

We played 2 wingers at the start of last season and were cut open time and time again. We can play Deulofeu and Mirallas... but I think we'll be cut open on the counter time and time again.

The side that got to the semi final of the League cup, last 16 of the EL and finished 5th with 65 points played better football that this current side.

And as great as some of the football this season has been, we've still not seen a better footballing goal than Osman's vs Larissa.

Style-wise, yes this side is vastly superior to much of the Moyes era, but not the 22-goal Yakubu season.

Bang out of order! You should give yourself a weeks ban for being sensible.

Moderators are always moderate mate.

Can't blame him for today. Two pens given away and then Coleman ( I think it was Seamus ) is trying too hard to get things moving from a throw in and puts Cleverley ( ? ) under massive pressure.

It's sloppy like, and he has to take some responsibility for that, but, truth be told, today wasn't the day for blaming the manager, and plenty of people are likely to be voting purely on the back of a loss.

So because it didnt work when everyone was absolutely wank, we shouldnt give it a go with some modifications? We play with 2 DM's who's job it is to cover the side that has the ball. I cant think of 1 player last year that was better than the year before.

Only an opinion of mine and I stick by it.

Some of the decisions he makes are indefensible, it's as simple as that. Starting Kone every single week and not taking him over after an hour when he's clearly shattered, refusing to drop Howard no matter how terrible he plays on a consistent basis and refusing to give point-to-prove players a proper chance in the side to try and make an impact.

Ridiculous how everyone was up the bloke's arse again after only a decentish start to the season. I said the exact same last December and I've never once changed my mind, he hasn't got a clue and there is a real arrogance about him in how he refuses to answer legitimate criticisms or address glaring concerns. If there was any other decent manager available who we could realistically bring in then I would be screaming for the bloke to be sacked because this is not good enough for our club, especially considering what great potential our players have.

Keep ; get somebody in who has failed elsewhere or is 'promising' ? Then another two or three years of rebuilding. Let's see how the rest of the season pans out before snap judgements.
