His team was the worst and then in the bottom three teams, for two consecutive seasons, for throwing away leads in the Premier League.

If you choose to ignore the facts, that's your call.
They're not facts mate. They're statements.

There is not stats showing him the worst of Evertons last five managers for throwing away leads is there?

Do I really need to explain the difference between a fact and a statement? Trying to discuss anything with you is very tedious.

I posted the number of points lost arising out of leads thrown away in premier league games and showed how they compared to the other teams in the premier league (very badly). They are facts (i.e. known to be true).

I could dig out the stats for historic Everton managers but I really don't have the inclination - do it yourself if you're that interested.

13th place and 44 points at time of sacking.Worst home season in history. No meryseyside derby wins either.I didn't think we'd see a manager who would be even worse at derby matches than Moyes.Step forward Roberto Martinez, the man who made David Moyes look like an expert at winning derby matches.lol

So not many times then?

Thanks.
I just assumed that since you claim to be a fan you'd know the number having watched them, and so it was a rhetorical question.

But since you dont know, last season the number was 8. And that was JUST for giving the game away with 1-2 goals in the last 15 minutes. Doesnt count earlier goals with a lead, or late goals given up when behind. I believe he lead the league by a good margin at one point. "Typical: having the distinctive qualities of a particular type of person or thing". Such as typical Martinez. Or typical Davek, giving the expected response.

No, it's still as clear as mud. I asked how many times we'd lost a 3-1 lead late on under Martinez.

I'm assuming it wasn't very often then.
No you didnt, you asked "How many times did that happen then...you know, given that it was 'typical'?" Pretty easy to go back and read your own words.

What was asked for was the number of times we lost 3-1 leads.

How many times? Still not had an answer. It defo happened once like.

Not what I asked for. I asked for the number of times we lost from 3-1 up....your original claim was that it was a typical scoreline to be defeated from.

So, for the (hopefully) last time: how many times did that occur?

I have absolutely no idea why you're so obsessed with this 3-1 scoreline point.

To clarify, are you saying that (a) Martinez isn't renowned for throwing away leads, or (b) Martinez isn't renowned for throwing away 3-1 leads.

If the latter, I agree with you, because 3-1 isn't a common scoreline at all, let alone one to throw away. If the former, I disagree with and the stats I've posted speak for themselves.
