I'll be in the minority of one I am sure but if our only choices for next Everton manager were Koeman and Blerto I'd pick Koeman.
For us....defo!
Today shall henceforth be known as Black Sunday.Dave's had a mare today, hook for Barkley and the game turns around, clean sheet for Pickford and Martinez showed his true colours!!!
What a manager.
This is what he does, Marc Wilmots did a great job with Belgium, put down great groundwork in place for Martinez to look good, and they were until Martinez started to leave his mark.To be fair, it looks like Roberto has taken that lot as far as he can. Something that happened with the Moyes donkeys he inherited.
RM should now grab one of the better Euro club jobs he can and leave the Belgians to it.
Took over from Bruces Wigan who finished 11th, relegated them. Defo a pattern emerging. This is what he does, Marc Wilmots did a great job with Belgium, put down great groundwork in place for Martinez to look good, and they were until Martinez started to leave his mark.
Same story at Everton, David Moyes did a great job with Everton, put down great groundwork in place for Martinez to look good, and they were until Martinez started to leave his mark.
Martinez goes to a club wth a great foundation, picks up and gets the benefit of anothers work and then gets found out. Will be at Newcastle before Barkley at this rate
Wilmots was terrible too. The truth is Belgium have immense talent but no where near enough money to get a manager who is smart enough to not mess it up.This is what he does, Marc Wilmots did a great job with Belgium, put down great groundwork in place for Martinez to look good, and they were until Martinez started to leave his mark.

Koeman didn't have the tools in his locker to undo the damage Martinez did. If Koeman took over from Moyes I feel he'd have had a very different season probably even getting us to the champions league. Martinez left too much of a damage for him to achieve anything meaningful. I think Koeman just about pips it as a better manager (not for us though unfortunately) but both were dire.Better manager than Koeman though?!
