I was a big fan of Martinez. That first season of his was magic. Fudge all that crap about it was Moyes's players and his setup. He got us to two semi's more than anyone else has done since. He should have been given a couple of more seasons to use the money we were getting. No doubt I’ll get replies saying he would have bought crap, would have relegated us etc etc.. He got the semi's of the World Cup FFS. "YEAH BUT HE HAD WORLD CLASS PLAYERS" Exactly my point.

It just underlines Moyes' limited abilities. I dont think anyone would argue that he isn't limited...a travesty is what he's been since he left Everton. A by-word for managerial failure.
