Thought he lapsed in concentration several times tonight, admittedly up against Rashford who gives most defenders a challenge.

Remains in my mind a utility player but is really showing good heart for the team at the moment

I think he is a limited footballer but has the attitude of a winner. Aggressive and seems to have a great effect on the players around him

Coleman not starting is an absolute no brainer

Didn't think he was great today. Poor on the ball at times and was all over the place defensively at times too - but mostly that was him and Keane (both of them dreadful for Cavani's goal) not communicating, it seemed.

But he's a good player, playing out of position, and he's allowed an off day or two.

He’s a big talent and will be a great player.

It wasn’t a good day for him, he was up against a Rashford who caused problems all over the pitch.

What I like is that you can tell this is a “bad day” for him rather than it being him at his best and not being good enough.

I’d like to see him and Godfrey paired in the centre at some point.

Reminded me last night of the couple of games stones played at RB for us. Not a great game and definitely a CB. However attitude is spot on aggressive, snide, energy and you need players like him in the team.

He's not a right back but at the minute along with Godfrey is our best option there. Godfrey is being used in other positions so Holgate is playing in the poisoned chalice position at the moment. I like Holgate alongside both Mina and Keane in the middle as he offers pace. I would like to see him tried alongside Godfrey at some point but I do worry that we would lack height as both Holgate and Godfrey are only 6 foot.

I like his attitude and he is a good defender. His passing is very inconsistent but until we get a new RB in,he should play there rather than Seamus as He is the better defender.

Doing what he's been asked to do at the minute. We all know his limitations going forward but he'll very rarely get beat down his side. More than happy for him to stay there till the summer.
