He’s been part of an effective back 4 when we had a lot of injuries. He was poor 1st half yesterday, but I thought he played ok 2nd half. I thought he was better than Keane to be fair. The challenge on Shaw that led to the 3rd goal was a good challenge. He won the ball cleanly.

I think he is a bit hibbert/Neville when played on the right. Nothing will ever come of any pass out to him on that side but good defensively with some sloppiness/rashness.

seems decent on the ball at CB but very limited at RB. I wonder how easily he will get games in the CB rotation when we sign a RB? It’s hard to know where he might be seen in the pecking order right now

yeah defo. And if he can look composed at CB on the ball, surely he can do better on it at RB

Can you show me one time anyone with an ounce of credibility in the footballing world and not on a Football forum,has called him a "Ball playing centre half" because I haven't.

Unfair to judge him at right back, when he is most obviously a centre back. He can do a job at RB and is probably our best option.

He’s gone to 4th choice CB and 2nd choice RB for me, 10 years ago he would of been a fine RB but with the fullbacks playing such an attacking role these days I doubt he can do the job, too narrow and defensive for the modern game as a RB

There's no doubt he struggled for some reason last night, the coaches will have seen that as well, still a young lad and learning, I'm sure more consistency will come with experience and confidence, he's playing out of position at right back let's remember.

Decent squad player but nothing else really. A top quality RB has to come in this summer.

Definitely a good squad player but would you really want him as 1st choice CB or RB.
BTW glad to see the return of sock puppet.
