Well he had about 10 decent games in the Silva/Ferguson/Ancolloti crossover which managed to get him a new contract then all downhill since.

He got over 3 years left on 64 grand a week, he not gonna drop to 20 grand a week in Championship

Was probably more to blame than Godfrey for the second goal. He was actually playing in his preferred position and should have easy tidied that up if he was awake and had any semblance awareness of the striker running through.

I think that was a really smart play... Obviously terrible getting himself into that position in the first place, but it was a good foul to give away (assuming he knew he wasn't in the area!)

I've never seen a player regress so much.
His attitude looks questionable. His talent is not there and he looks lost.

He's doing the basics poorly and when he seems to be more interested in how he looks than how he performs then he's on a hiding to nothing.

I did a question and answer thing on a site last year, just after he signed his contract, and I said how I thought he had probably reached his peak and and that he would make a decent Championship defender. He must have read it as he virtually quoted me in an interview for the Everton programme saying how wrong it was but so far what I said turned out to be right.

Positioning wise, absolutely woeful.

Watched him closely in the second half, and he doesn't look like he's got a footballers brain.

Frightening. I'm sure he used to have pace too. Not really sure what's happened there.
