To be honest I felt his frustration at times. The amount of times he got give the ball and was looking for someone and absolutely no one was showing for it, the lack of movement was forcing him to make bad passes

I'm not going to tag people because i'm not intending to call them out but in the 2 pages before the game last night there were all these posts by different people:

It does seem that people often just ignore his actual ability levels. He isn't big or strong and he isn't particularly quick. That's an issue for a PL centre half but you can get past it if you have very good positional sense and decision making skills. Unfortunately they are the weakest parts of his game. Kenny is the same, people clamouring for him to be given a new contract on the back of a couple of decent games and just ignoring the fact that he isn't magically going to improve his speed, strength or ability on the ball at the age of 25.

This. To be fair I totally ignore anyone who thinks kenny and holgate are players with premiership ability.

Him and Godfrey looked more organised than him and Keane have ever looked. I know that’s not the long term answer but football is about blends and they made a couple of positional mistakes but were better than Holgate and keane will ever be.

He played ok 1st half but he struggled as did the team when we went a goal down. Far better with Godfrey than he was with keane

I’ve said for a while I think Branthwaite should be 1st choice but he will make a mistake a game but he’s not afraid to play a ball to break the lines and we lacked that today.
