….it’s a low bar, but I much prefer Keane to Holgate.

Not fussed on either of them , just seems keane makes a mistake and it ends up costly.
Both in fairness to them have patches of looking half decent, but never seems to last, maybe Tarkowski as a partner might bring something out of one of them or Godfrey who has gone backwards.

As if Moyes would want a smallish centre-half with major concentration issues. File under rubbish (would definitely sell though).

I think it is exactly the kind of signing Moyes would make.

We're all aware of his flaws but wouldn't be taking pennies for him. Still only 25 with bags of PL experience and still time to improve his game, reasonably mobile and can cover a couple of positions in a pinch. He's a useful squad player and even though he is inconsistent probably wouldn't bother taking less than 15 million in the inflated world of the PL market.

I think he's improved defensively but his distribution is the worst I've seen in a defender.

The amount of times he either hit an aimless long ball to no one or straight out of touch last season. So frustrating.

Literally proved that he couldn’t chew gum and play football at the same time ! As infuriating as his giveaways are … it’s his reaction to them that drives me crazy ! You give it away …YOU get it back ! He just shrugs his shoulders and watches them attack the goal !
