Good kid this. Good passer and quick which is what we have lacked. Still learning but we win more games when he plays than when he does not.

When we're resorting to playing Cuco Martina at left back, I'd say Garbutt is definitely worth a chance tbh.

Can’t play at moment because he’s not registered for First Team squad but I agree in principle.

You're right. Other than the FA cup, and if we're looking safe we should spend the rest of the season blooding some of our promising youngsters.

Yeah we do need to upgrade on Keane.

Thought he was quality tonight in his best position, lots of clearances and interceptions, played a few nice passes out from the back, nice and composed throughout. Very encouraging and promising display from young Mase, hopefully Sam was impressed.

Good performance tonight and looked a real calming influence on our backline, especially with that clown out on his left.

Though I'd like to see it I doubt Allardyce will use him much as a central-defender in a partnership with Keane, I think Funes Mori will slot back in when he's back fit because Sam likes his centre-halves to be big units. Holgate deserves more game time in that position though, would definitely use him over Jagielka and Williams. Both of them are utterly finished.
