We have got Danjuma so that is at least a step up from January's mess. Young could also be another better creative outlet if deployed higher up. Is Dele going to around and of a Dyche type player we'll have to see. If we do get one more forward and that provides enough cover to mean DCL isn't thinking the world rests on his shoulders then we may see his appearances double this season and we know we looked a totally different team when that did happen. They are positives or at least possible positives.

I'm frustrated as the next man by our lack of transfers, but equally if we are limited in funds we cannot just go get the first thing just because it is easy and available. It has to be the right fit, including the personality and overall cost of the deal, else we'll be sat here next year bemoaning our choices.

The club should have had a list of forwards drawn up over a year ago when Richarlison was sold, and a clear plan to improve the goal threat in the side

Its 10x more important than any other business we could do this year. If funds are limited as we expect then every single penny should be going on finding goal scorers.

There is no excuse for the lack of attacking quality in our squad. The lack of backing to Dyche and Lampard has been awful imo

We need 2 forwards. No other positions should even be considered until we get them. If every penny has to be spent on them then fine because it will be well worth it

Shoulda scored three in first half but we already know unless McNeill gets the chance it’s not gonna go in. Nothing we didn’t know already.

McNeill was his confident self again, love his ability to drive forward when he’s confident.

Thought the kids did very well. A couple of excellent touches by Okoronkwo but never looks capable infront of goal.

Ironically the only time I've seen you positive is when a clearly inept manager was managing the club.

We're way more stable now. This is the first pre season game we haven't scored in and we've conceded no goals. We look way way better in terms of fitness and chance creation.

Yes we're poor on goalscorers but we won't be near as bad as last season, in my opinion.

They have tried and bought in rubbish i am glad hasnt worked out for the likes of cannon ect. Is a massive window they have to get attackers in. Atleast ankther cf winger and a cb for me, not sure how gomes did tonight but out of the players back from loans. Only one who has a chance this season

Danjuma and Gray might take Time to get going and same with DCL
Yeah so those 7 are definitely in match day squads at least and have not played

Gray May take time for palace or Fulham, it won’t be at Everton
