Just woke up from my nap. Was absolutely f*cked after work and only made it til half time. Thought Lescott's header was decent and James Milner was absolutely gash. Also, I was impressed by Mexes, haven't really seen much of him in the past.
Did i actually call you a kopite Mick? Dnt go tellin tales now
Tellin tales would have been naming names.
In answer to your question yes I did enjoy the goal. Make me less of an Evertonian?!
I celebrated with my two brothers- one a manc and one something else. A family, a country united. One love, one life- live it.
They didn't seem sharp or direct enough for me, especially on the back of the last time we played them when they were free flowing. They looked cautious for large chunks, Diarra sat back very deep with Cabeye falling back every now and then. Ribery was poor and Benzema looked like he couldnt be arsed being in the box.
It's building blocks with England for me. A big reset button. We had spells of good possession in chunks but the ridgidness meant there's no alternation or players asking for. Which, with the players at his disposal is expected.
They look like Everton in a nutshell. I just think its good foundations for when the likes of wilshire, Rodwell, Rooney, sturridge, walker etc all develop and come in for the world cup. It'll change and look better imo
I've already explained that one, but if you wanna make out that I said supporting England makes you less of an Evertonian, thats fine, disappointing, but fine.
I feel sad now, I dont want to disappoint you. I like you. I just wish you liked my country.
Ribery took up where he left off for Munich: very patchy form. Benzema looked dangerous floating about to me, though. The difference was that France looked just as solid as England did but their approach also allowed certain players to get on the ball and move it with a bit of intelligence. When England got it they were clueless most of the time.
I think England will feel the need to step up against the other two in the group and they'll be undone.
This is actually internet bullying.
Why mate?
Because I know you were born and live in it. Like Ive said its fine you are anti England. Its just the winding up and absolutely twitching to rip people about supporting their own country.
National pride is a personal thing- you dont have it, fine. I do and its something that has been instilled in me by grandfather and father, i shouldnt but I do take it personally when someone says '**** England' Its more than about a football team. to me.
God... Cant believe I am getting into this again, sorry.
Anyway- not a bad result against probably the toughest in the group...

I'm fine with that and never had a problem with it - as for the winding up, its happened on both sides, except when we wind up, it gets reported, when its us getting wound up its allowed or it seems.
