if conte was belgian manager they would walk this euro championship. This is a team that failed to score against wales in 180 mins picking up just 1 point.

Rom is a raw talent, when it comes off for him eg vs Chelsea in the cup, he looks magnificent.
He is still far though from being the polished finished article aka Thierry Henry.

It doesn't appear from what we're seeing so far tonight that the Belgian manager works with him. He's there on the back of four in four, not necessarily because he's totally proven.

And how many times have we said test he doesn't seem to favour of enjoy being go lone striker unless he's got a Ross feeding balls for him to run onto?

How many through balks have Hazard and co even tried to thread through the Italian defence for him to run onto and at them with?

Like Ross, Rom is still a work in progress and one who has let himself get ahead of himself in terms of thinking he's better than Everton at this stage in his career.
First touch is everything, and he hasn't got it
Great scoring wonder goals, but you need to hold that ball and be able to open the play up
He can't do that, and will it come....who knows

Conte is a dream

I suspect none of us will be saying that in 6 months time when his Chelsea team have pulled some of the same stunts on us in the league.

Sadly those tossers in West London have bagged a good manager there, wish Abramowich would get on Putin's bad side and end up eating a Polonium sandwich.

Can't quite put my finger on it with Belgium, not one thing or the other, Hazard is their playmaker and dribbler but can't seem to form a meaningful relationship with any player around him, and others won't take the same level of responsibility.

They're just a bit overrated mate.

Hazard is out of form, Fellaini is hardly a world beater, you never know which Lukaku is going to turn up.

De Bruyne is their only real in form player who I would say teams should be concerned about.

I agree, he is still raw and playing with his back-to-goal patently doesn't play to his strengths... Channel running, getting onto balls played in front of him so he can dictate to the defender in front of him.

The sooner Everton and Belgium wake up to that, the better.
