I agree, he is still raw and playing with his back-to-goal patently doesn't play to his strengths... Channel running, getting onto balls played in front of him so he can dictate to the defender in front of him.

The sooner Everton and Belgium wake up to that, the better.
Disagree mate
He needs to improve his overall play, he needs to work on the first touch, his awareness and his overall desire.
If he continues as he does he just becomes predictable and easy to play against

Big season ahead of him, were ever he ends up

Think Roger may be keeping it zipped for awhile.

Belgium always seemed to want too many touches. Italy didn't waste any time getting it forward and crossing.

Debruyne was clumsy and I don't know how Fellaini stayed on the pitch the whole game.

Best match so far though.

Think a great example of that was when De Bruyne was breaking away, and he was expecting Lukaku to cut inside into the gap the Italians had left, so he played the ball into that space, but Lukaku just carried on running wide, it ended up looking like a bad ball, but it was down to Lukaku not reading the pass, De Bruyne was going mad.
