Match Ticket Thread - Spares/Requests - FACE VALUE OR LESS ONLY!

Ok I'll try to answer this. Yes I am a Gold member, and as such there were always enough tickets. Capacity is 32500, we have 23000 ST holders, some go to corporate, but there should always be enough left to reach the members, gold are capped at 3000, so plenty to reach me, and they have all season, we've been to every home game so far. I don't know where the extras have gone for the Everton game, I just know they haven't reached all the gold members for the first time, and so we can't go. I realise this isn't your problem, and I never asked an Evertonian to give a ticket up for me if they want to go, just that if someone has a couple spare to please consider selling it on to another fan who wants to see us hopefully do this, we won't get another chance :)

I so want to make a sarcy comment about this, like switch the game to a bigger ground or something, but just cant be bothered.

Lets face it, it was 100% unexpected 9 months ago when the club made decisions on tickets and stuff, so pretty predictable that this situation has happened.

Like the PL or Sky or someone has stopped you having big screens at the ground for the United game I heard today. My decision? Let you. But then every club would want the same for their games, so its a no.

Enjoy it, even if you wont be there. Well, in the ground anyrate.

Have people had a response as to where the tickets have gone from the club ?

I'd guess that there will be quite a number of spares available on the day in the Everton end.

Our terrible form, lack of interest due to manager and a few quid bung will certainly see spares.

We've actually got what could be a major role in Leicester, Norwich and Sunderland season with what could be an uninterested team and crowd.
No, no response yet from the club, tbh they seem to be brushing it under the carpet, clearly money talks from the sponsors but not the members. Again I realise this is something for us to take up with the club, but like you say there surely must be spares, I'd just rather secure them now than have to take my chances outside the ground on the day with my lad. The club has been an unforeseen victim of it's own success, but we just want to witness Wes lifting the trophy hopefully, been following them for 20 odd years now, even went to Atletico Madrid and to miss this will be heartbreaking, but like I said I know it's not your problem, just hoping one of you can't make it :-)

Doubt there will be any spares, this is Everton, our away support is boss. Sold out dead early too.

Sorry crossed posts there. Yes nobody saw this coming, otherwise we wouldn't have struggled to get 6000 a few years ago. I don't want to outstay my time here on your forum, you all know where I am if you can help so I will leave you to it :-)

How donI upload photos? Trying on my iPad but it won't let me for some reason? Just wanted to post some ticket stubs, programmes, collectors cards, photos, etc as I promised earlier to prove I'm not a Leicester fan! Or I can PM them to admin who can then confirm they've received them & Im genuine!

Hope I get a ticket after all this crawling round the loft & searching through old boxes!

Thanks

I laughed at Gold Member mate..

Sure I'm miles back in the queue at this point but would be after a spare or two for the Leicester game. Work has meant I've had to move down to the Coventry area this season (if that wasn't punishment enough...) so haven't seen as many games as I'd like to this year.

Understand there's probably plenty more deserving Blues than myself but can rest assured that I'd put them to their proper use.

Lots of people locked out in 85 at Goodison when we lifted the League - that's the way it goes.

Personally I don't subscribe to passing on tickets to Leicester fans, not that I've got anything against them, just I think we've got an allocation and that's for Evertonians, end of the matter.

Hi All,
Seems like some Everton fans trying to sell there ticket to Leicester fans. I was offered the chance to buy a scalf for 500 quid with a free Leicester ticket in the Everton end.

Shame really because I am an Everton fan and no way will I part with anything above face value to watch Everton this season with nothing to play for under this phoney manager. If any genuinely Everton fans want to sell there ticket because they cannot make it......
