Transfer Rumour Maximillian James Aarons

It feels like Norwich accept he will leave and want the deal tied up early.
They’re likely to come up and probably know they’ll need to bring in 3 or 4 first teamers to have a chance to stay up this time. A good right back won’t do that on his own. So if they can sell him for a bundle while his stock is high and fill multiple other holes with the money, it does make sense for both parties to movie on, especially for a club like Norwich.

Theyre quite realistic.

I think they expected some big offers for Aarons, Buendia, Cantwell and the like which never materialised.

They wont stay up so they would probably prefer to sell these players now for big money and then use the allure of the premier league to attract the next wave of u21s.

If they yoyo for a few seasons then when they come up with another young group of 'stars' they will have a better chance to stay in the league.

Nobody tell Bruce how much United paid for Aaron Wan Bissaka.
That's partly the point though, isn't it? I think at the time he was like the 5th most expensive defender of all time, and yet even now he still hasn't made his England debut. Don't get me wrong, Wan Bissaka is a decent player, but there must be a lot better value out there in his position. I mean Bayern got Pavard for £15m less than United paid for Wan Bissaka, and he's a World Cup winner with 30 odd caps for France.
