Hope we can get this one done. Desperately need to replace Richarlison’s goals and this lad could fit the bill.

More suitable place for a Cornet though Brighton isn't it, eh eh eh eh eh, hehehe. The longer it takes the more I'll be disappointed when he signs for Brighton.
Does Burnley want to sell him? Why?
Cornet is available for a reasonable fee because he has a relegation clause in his contract. Not because Burnley want to get rid of him.
I have no idea what Everton supposedly have offered, but let us say it was a £3M loan fee and an option to buy for £20M next summer. Everton paying extra if Cornet does well. If not, Burnley get to keep their best player. If they are back in the Premier League, the relegation clause could be void.
Such a deal could potentially be win win for both clubs. Reasonable of Everton to make such an offer and Burnley have every right to turn it down. If Burnley want £17M up front, there will likely be clubs (incl. Everton) willing to pay that.
The stadium costs so far are on Everton's balance sheet, why do you think our losses are so high? It's not all from poor spending, we actually haven't spent heavily at all in the transfer market in direct comparison to our rivals since the summer of Marco Silva's second season.
Moshiri hasn't loaned the club any new money for quite a while, many were fooled into thinking he did last year when skewed reporting suggested he had injected £100m into the club which wasn't the case, he had simply turned £100m of his old loan into equity - not a bad thing of course, but certainly not what it was made out to be.
The stadium, even if it is a fixed cost, will be paid through recurring payments. It is not remotely a stretch to think we have diverted some or even all all of the Richarlison money that way, the stadium is unaffected by p+s so if we are so strung up by those rules that we can't even reinvest money into our squad then why would we bank that money when it could be used to develop our infrastructure?

That’ll at least force our hand. We were always going to have to pay the 17.5 for him, no way we’re getting a deal out of Burnley. So now we either have the money and pay it or we don’t.Looks like Fulham are submitting a bid for him.
We are skint.
If Fulham are putting a bid in and it's a straight choice between us and them, hen Fulham get their man as it would mean cash is being spent and that's were we are up $$$$ creekLooks like Fulham are submitting a bid for him.
We are skint.
Gabriel Jesus, Mohamed Elneny - if they find a bloke called Steve Vishnu they'll almost have the full set! ?Cannot do mate, he signed for Arsenal !!!
Thats what exactly whats happening we need to sell give away our deadwood to beat the Fair play rules - just stop these hire purchase attempts to sign a playerLooks like Fulham are submitting a bid for him.
We are skint.
A sensible post about a relegated winger from Burnley I completely agree with. One of the two of us must be on the wrong forum...Not at all fussed about this one whatsoever, soon to be 26, never done anything special really, inconsistency kind of throughout his career - which is why at 26 he's at Burnley from France.
Yes he's versatile - but average players with versatility usually means average or worse just across more positions.
He wouldn't start at lb, Shouldn't start at lm/lw ahead of Gordon shouldn't start ahead of Dele/Gordon as a 10, has never really played from the right, and is very average as a cf and completely different to DCL so hardly a good backup as the entire system.would have to change to accommodate him there.
Need better than this - especially in the positions we actually need way more urgently.
