Mayor's Bramley Moore Dock Open Letter To Evertonians

But he is lying mate
You think some designer on the other side of the world who you hadn't heard about until six months ago is safe to trust?

He's a businessman mate. He'll say and do anything to get the gig.

Let's see what he's been working on and then we can see for ourselves whether he 'wont commit the mistakes of others'.

Incentive for him to come up with a solution allowing an ace stadium which can have temporary adjustments so he gets more gigs, no?

Dan Meiss , the architect tasked with designing our ground , has repeatedly informed us that his aim is steep stands and an 'intimate' atmosphere. Joe Anderson the Mayor who has been central to our plans in helping us identify and secure the location, (who is himself a match going Evertonian, ) has gone out of his way to write an open letter to allay any fears that the atmosphere will be compromised. We have yet to see any plans. We have seen many innovative solutions to using grounds for other purposes, so people with no architectural or engineering knowledge declaring it impossible are clearly jumping the gun on this. Let us see the plans before we cast judgement on this.
On the plus side , if it can be done to our satisfaction, our new ground could well be used as the centrepiece of a major sporting event which will surely benefit our club and just as importantly our city.
Patience.

No. More like he'll keep his potential paymasters sweet and that'll be job done.

As said though: let's see his designs. He has them presumably. It's all he seems to have been focussing on for 6 months.

Let the club and him provide us with their vision.

Not much to ask is it?

...and let's see them quickly.

lollol

Why do us Evertonians have to wait so long to find out which way these knife edged debates go.

"Moshiri is a fraud" wait until; Sept 1st

"Dan Meis is a liar" wait until; date unknown

The perils of being a blue.

Only bit of a race anyone is interested in is the finish right?
Stick the finishing straight/110 m hurdles inside the stadium, leave 2 corners unfinished til after the games so the rest of the track is outside the stadium.
Allows steep seating, build the corners afterward to bring the capacity to 61878.
Simple when ypu think it through.

Just make them run around Goodison. Sorted.
