Makes no sense to Mayweather because 1) He's the other one of the top 2 pound for pound, 2) He's bigger and 3) He's not a huge name in the states that will generate enough PPV buys to be worth the risk.

Just watched it back.

Mayweather is obviously an outstanding boxer - arguably the best technical fighter of all time, but one of the worst things about the sport IMO. I know it's not a blood sport where people want to see bad injuries, but at the end of the day people want to see a fight. Not even a brawl, but at least two people trading more than one punch at a time and not someone running for 12 rounds landing the occasional straight.

Look at Ali, Tyson, Leonard, Golovkin, Calzaghe, Jones Jr, Duran, Ward, Hopkins, Froch, Pacquaio, Tszyu, Hatton, Martinez, Chavez, Kessler, De La Hoya etc. etc.

Some of them nowhere near as good, but all of them infinitely better to watch. How Mayweather is the "Pay Per View" King is beyond me.

I think he's bad for the sport.

I'm watching it now, the crowd are booing Mayweather everytime he grabs and spoils, as soon as Manny gets in close, in range to offload, he either jumps out the way or just holds.

Manny hurt him with a good shot here in the 4th.

It's not hard to do what Mayweather done here when he's backing off with a 5 inch reach advantage, looking at it again, it's a total miss match, you can't give MW 5 inches when his style is defence and counter.

he cant simple as that.
he's soulless character, empty shell if i may. thats why. you need something else to rise above. it can be internal or external. this fight will be forgotten but for example the greatest fight ever-- lasted one round. mayweather cant touch real legends or even fight legendary fight.

Just as expected. The only thing that annoys me is that referees allow clinching / Floyd leaning on pacquaio head every time he cornered him so the ref split them up. It should be 1 warning, 2nd offence you lose a point and so forth.
