Gueye got a lot of games last season to be fair. He was fecking awful for most of them but he did play.

I agree - as long as we don't have an oligark or a sheik dropping oil money on us, this is the way forward. Buy the young prospects, play them and sell them when the right offer comes in. The only think I have doubts about is Moyes - he does not like playing youngsters at all. They are only ever given a chance when injuries have forced his hand and the team more or less selected itself.
IMO only Coleman has been given a proper chance. Even Rooney was kept on the bench just prior to him being sold to United and thrown into their starting 11.James Vaughan, Wayne Rooney, Dan Gosling, Ross Barkley, Seamus Coleman, Magaye Gueye.
But yeah, nobody else.
I suppose, but at the same time RB shouldn't really be priority for us, I know most of us hate Neville and Hibbert playing there but we don't have a real RM at all. Clyne would have been a quality signing, considering the reported fee was 2.5m ffs!

If he's 17, means he'll count as home grown in a couple of years right?

I didn't say he didn't - however he was never first choice up front for us. Whereas at United he was top dog from day one.Rooney played games for us, mate. Unfair to say otherwise.
Yeah Fellaini was 17 when he was bought.OH WAIT.
haha, im such a tit, i thought got him mized up with chris samba, use to think cherno was his nickname, realize it was just my nickname for him because cherno is a cool way of saying chris IMO
