Hope you're right can't wait to have a goal threat from outwide. He actually could be the new Andrei
you should be driven out of here for advocating that we sign someone who dresses up as a matador
He has the magic that we need.

If true it does seem odd.Maybe the fact Schneiderlin has a good Prem pedigree and Depay is seen as a flop may have something to do with it?It just doesn't make sense that Man U would play hard ball over Schneiderlin and demanding getting back close to what they paid for him, then willing to take a £10m hit on Depay.

Depay was touted as one of the best young talents in Europe mate, I just see it more a case of things not working out for him at Man U than him being a flop. he's still only 22 as well.
lolAre you surprised when we win a corner mate?
I agree, I think the perception of him being a flop is media and Redcafe driven (although they have never criticised his attitude).Still a long way to go in his career.Depay was touted as one of the best young talents in Europe mate, I just see it more a case of things not working out for him at Man U than him being a flop. he's still only 22 as well.
makes perfect sense tbh mate when you look at the two players.
1 is regarded as a model pro, has proven himself in this league as one of the better in his position, substance over hype
the other one was a highly touted prospect in a weak league, who seems to have not been able to transfer it over to the premiership, and one whose personality kinda draws negative press
Put it a better way, very few people indeed dont regard a schneiderlin transfer as a risk or anythign short of a very good pickup for everton, a lot would regard depay as a gamble
lol
More likely surprised when we defend a bloody corner well.
Barca sold del to us for 4.5m mate when a couple of years earlier he was rgarded as the next great player they would have come through the ranks, depays stock has taken a major hit - as people now link him with a long list of flops to cpome from holland to this league
Agree Depay would be a gamble, still think Man U would be looking at more than £15m for him, still only 22 as well, so no rush to move him on.
Time will tell mate. At £15m though I would take that gamble and snap their hand off and get him in.
In this current market, yup, he flops the odds are youd still break even on him the way fees are going, he lives up to his potential he showed in holland then youd have an amazing bargain on your hands
