Koeman would be mad not to go for him. Christ the smoke we blow up "Cult" heroes like Besic and Deulofeu, Depay would feel like Messi everytime he stepped foot onto the pitch.

vault me if im wrong! he is going to wait till end of january to see what offers come in, there are various european clubs looking at him, we would come quite abit down the list i would imagine. even if no-one makes a concete offer, bar us, he would rather stay at united till the summer.

He'd get in ahead of all of them as he suits Koeman's style more than any of them.

Do think he's a target, but not a priority, and we'll be looking at other options first.

Everton not signing him doesn't mean the rest of your narrative is all true. It could be as simple as a loan vs buy disagreement between the clubs, or being unable to agree a fee, or him failing a medical.

So unless you've had a heart-to-heart with Depay and he poured out his feelings to you, forgive me if I take what you say with a bag of salt.
