Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

Maybe, or as this lovely short video suggests, maybe not.

That's a lovely video mate. But as I suggested to you earlier, robins are renowned for their friendliness towards humans. Blue tits not so. Yours was a rare experience.

The video reminded me of a robin that used to frequent one of the little National Trust cottages that Cal occasionally looked after. It was a funny little thing who's feathers on the top of it's head used to stick up, like a mohican hairstyle. The visitor book was full of comments about it and it would often come into the cottage and just sit there watching. Obviously many of the visitors used to feed it little titbits. It would always make my day if it turned up whilst we were there. ;)

Good afternoon everybody, hope you are having a lovely Saturday. It is a gorgeous autumn day up here in the north east. The sun is out but it is cold. One of those clear days when you can see for miles. Having a quiet weekend this weekend. Planning on a trip to Liverpool next weekend. I think I've watched one too many episodes of Bake Off because I'm contemplating making a Christmas cake. There are two reasons why this is not a good plan. 1) Nobody likes it and 2) I'm crap at baking.
