How was your eye appointment? Are you feeling better now that it is over.

Much better now it’s over thanks. So silly to get worked up like that but it’s just the thought of being trapped in a room and having to wear a mask didn’t help. The optician was lovely though, said I could take the mask off if it made me uncomfortable. Need new glasses and came out £350 lighter in the pocket but I was floating on air when it was over.lol

It is not silly, we all have our fears and phobias and it is okay. Good to read it went well, and that the cost of the new glasses came out lighter, you don’t need a big glass expense right before Christmas.

Morning messy et al ... great to see you posting yesterday @messymascot
this early start seems to be a thing for me 5am but at least it sounds like yesterday’s howling Gale has stopped ! The weathers not always perfect in Andalusia
I don’t mind the early start .... I’ll potter downstairs and make my coffee on the stovetop maker then watch the news channels then my Spanish homework .
after that out to rescue some of my pot plants which have been battered yesterday
then I’m taking the bus 90 minutes for a day out in Malaga and to pick up a hire car to see me over the next few weeks ..... if you’re coming to Spain avoid the big names book your car on “doyouspain” website .... I have booked a decent one for 8 euro a day

Morning Messy and his many followers ,I hope all have a great day .A bit like the day before you get hung is the only way to describe how my stomach feels .Let us hope for our best performance and that we at least make them play harder for a win . I liked Malaga. Thought it was a nice town.

Whe you get more familiar with area could you advise re some places off the tourist track to visit.

I fancy a tour of Andalusia taking in Alhambra and Grenada but otherwise missing touristy places.

Grey and grizzly in the NW today but tomorrow is forecast to be beautiful with long sunny spells.

I suspect the former will characterise our display v City but who knows.
