I don't know if this will help but in Finland there are small micro cars that the kids of 16 and up can drive as you dont need more the an "L " plate .Here is one :- https://www.nettimoto.com/en/microcar/mopoauto/2749411Luckily these guys aren't massive drinkers. We'll be having a few but won't be going over the top. I doubt I'll need to detox afterwards. It'll be good to get out and about for a few days. Because I don't drive I'm a bit restricted, and our bus service to the village I live in is limited to say the least. Cal driving has been one of those things I've taken for granted for years, but it's only when it's gone that you realise just how much.
My neighbours have been great but the last thing I want is to become a burden. They've been away in Southampton for a week and got back yesterday. Already I need to broach them about a shopping trip to the supermarket, a visit to our GP to get my flu jab, a trip to wherever to get my covid booster jab, and I need to see if they can take me to the airport for my flight up to Liverpool in January.
As I'm writing this my neighbour has just been on the phone. We're going shopping tomorrow and his wife is calling around this afternoon and we're going to co-ordinate our trips for the various jabs so we can all go together. They're so good to me really. I don't know how lucky I am.
quite a lot of oldies use them here as well . I have no idea whether the same applies in UK.
You must look after the neigbours as the are gems .Where do you fly from is it Brizzal ?
