Already I need to broach them about a shopping trip to the supermarket, a visit to our GP to get my flu jab, a trip to wherever to get my covid booster jab, and I need to see if they can take me to the airport for my flight up to Liverpool in January.

As I'm writing this my neighbour has just been on the phone. We're going shopping tomorrow and his wife is calling around this afternoon and we're going to co-ordinate our trips for the various jabs so we can all go together. They're so good to me really. I don't know how lucky I am.

I don't know if this will help but in Finland there are small micro cars that the kids of 16 and up can drive as you dont need more the an "L " plate .Here is one :- https://www.nettimoto.com/en/microcar/mopoauto/2749411
quite a lot of oldies use them here as well . I have no idea whether the same applies in UK.
You must look after the neigbours as the are gems .Where do you fly from is it Brizzal ?

I had family in Riviera del sol who had neighbours from Norway ,they always had their curtains closed and I thought they used it as a holiday home but they were sat inside all day ,they just didn't realise how 300 days of sun affects you .They couldn't sell as the prices had fallen compared with Norway meaning they were not able to buy a similar house back home .What I am saying is that you might not want to be driving in the sun after being in it 10 hours per day anyway .
On a brighter note I love the car .
One other dampener ,a lot go over and behave as though it is a holiday ,I met a guy who had blown 250,000 in three years ,partying every night ,eating out etc.
 
Morning Messy and all his messy friends ,I hope all is well this morning and we hear from you .Even if it is just a line or two .
The game will be hard against City so I am already prepared ,I think they are a great team and can enjoy watching from football fan perspective ,so at least I might see some good football.
I am not a traitor but a realist ,of course it would be great to turn them over I just don't see it happening .

Looked at a house there yesterday, very nice, liked it. Have got someone coming on Monday to value ours. We have been living here since 1982. We have great neighbours and will miss being here but needs must. Not looking forward to moving house though, thought I had finished with all that!

It is probably a sensible move but will be hard to leave somewhere that you have lived for such a long time.

Thanks for the sage advice
And I’m careful of the sun and to be honest I paint or build guitars in my studio for 6 to 8 hours most days
I need a car to get my groceries but for me a choice between head and heart is a fun one

I woke up at 4 this morning and to my luck the longest lunar eclipse in 580 years it is happening at the moment. Here is a shot from my phone that it does no justice to what I’m witnessing right now. So I’m going to get off my phone for a bit so I can contemplate the eclipse and the heavens. But I will return again later today to check on you! Xx

Good morning all. @messymascot I hope you are up to posting today. It being Friday I have zero motivation for the workplace. I can feel an early finish coming on. Anybody doing anything fun this weekend. Obviously Everton v Man City will be our collective highlight. This reminds me, I need to get alcohol supplies. I'm having my COVID booster tomorrow. That's about as rock n roll as it gets right now.
