Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

Good morning all yesterday we realised how wierd the weather is here as we had almost all the fields clear of snow ,that is not normal it usually happens in April but today all is well a snow blizzard from the north and everywhere is white again, visibilty is down to 50metres .
I hope all slept well and have a great day today . I can't be doin with this long gap between matches when we win one ,Monday will be a tough one as they always raise their game against us .COYB
I kind of know what you mean here re time between matches but when it comes to this iteration of Everton I am quite content to ride the crest of a win for as long as possible.

A snow scape does sound wonderful blue. As I look out it is just grey although a little bit of colour is starting to creep into the garden.

So, with everything else going on, my son managed to put my wife’s car into a ditch and bury it into a hedge as they were coming home. Both are fine, the car looks like a complete write off. It was only its 4x4 drive that allowed me to get it out, at which point I laughed. The day was a hard day to forget anyway, but this was just the icing on the cake…
You are all having a really hard time at the moment and as you say this was the icing on the cake. The main thing is they weren’t injured but it must have shaken them up. Hope they are feeling okay today. Does the insurance cover a courtesy car so you are able to take Mrs Pete out for her drives? I know deviation from a routine can be upsetting for some with Alzheimer’s. Sending my best wishes.?

They are both absolutely fine, my son was a bit shaken up but my wife just shrugged it off. It was my wife’s car, my car is fine so our trips are not affected. Just means some of the trips that my son would do I have to do as well…..

Oh Pete, that's rubbish. Pleased they are both OK.

Afternoon everyone,

Feeling a bit sore today after my return to playing table tennis but not too bad. Only played because we were a player short and needed to win to win the title. Job done , won all my games but bat put away now for 3 months and will decide in the summer if I will play again.

Starting to get nervous about the Derby but can't ever recall a time when the RS were in worse shape / form. I think that's bad - it's the hope that kills you.

@peteblue sorry to hear about the car crash and hope everyone is fine.

Has @Terrarian been on whilst I've been AWOL ?

Have a lovely day.

Main thing is everybody ok ? Plus did the airbags go off?
The vehicle can be replaced - it's a pain - I know

Afternoon all. Just back from town and feeling queasy. On the bus home was a man who on being asked by an old lady why he was wearing an eye patch told her he had had an operation. He spared her, and the rest of us, no detail. He then showed her some photos which he had on his phone. It was a single decker so no chance of escaping upstairs. I spent the journey with my fingers stuck in my ears. I may have to have an eye operation myself so it was the last thing I wanted to hear.
Really enjoying your thought for the day @blue1948 . Hope you’re okay @Terrarian . Enjoy the rest of the day, all. It’s almost springlike here.?
Hello guys,

I'm ok, more browsing at the minute, still not right and have increased the meds to 350g and feel a bit all over the place. I shall try post more, just lacking a bit of enthusiasm at the mo.
