Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

Yes. They did one called January too if I remember rightly. I've already played my card in the Donny v David debate.😀
Cal was a David Essex fan. My sister (who is 3 years older) was mad on Gilbert O'Sullivan of all people and used to wear a green jumper with a big red "G" on it. A girl who was a good workmate used to dress up in cut off trousers and tartan for some weird reason too

No I can say with some certainty that women are most definitely not from Mars.

Always thought Gilbert was a bit dodgy. See the lyrics to Clair.

Couldn't stand Smokie.
Darts were good.
Slik rings a bell but I can't recall them.
A very good friend of mine absolutely loves Showaddywaddy , even to this day . He recently went to Butlins just to see them !!! lol
I'll just leave you with Mud and surely the worst ever Christmas record "Lonely this Christmas"
Midge Ure started off in Slik I think.

Worst Xmas song for me is Shakie. Never got him.

Edit. Another "fred" I see 😀

I'd also forgotten about David Essex. He was nice. The Bay City Rollers. I loved the way they sang with Scottish accents and I do have a soft spot for Shang a Lang and Bye bye Baby.
I thought of a couple more Glam rock/70s acts while I was in the hairdressers- Sparks- very weird but some good songs. Number 1 Song In Heaven being my favourite. Also the awesome Suzi Quatro. I once got a detention for using my hockey stick like a guitar and busting out the moves to Devil Gate Drive- singing included. The nuns were not fans of Suzi Q.

Hello again. First phase of the day complete. I now no longer look like this. Older viewers will remember. I got cslled Crystal Tipps all through school. Probably deservedly do - loved the 80s when big hair and perms were the must have. My naturally curly mop fitted right in!
