Based on ( what little) we know I find it hard to see much difference between the situations that both Edwards and Schofield have created. Your view of Lineker is coloured by your politics I suspect Pete .
It just goes to show that the old adage is absolutely true , money can't buy you happiness.

I still think there is more to this than we know. 16 - 18 year olds are always tricky in my line of work. Still children but old enough to consent. I think Mr Edward's has some very specific sexual interests whereas Mr Schofield is just a sleazy creep who hit on a 15 year old. Just my opinion like...

I'd also forgotten about David Essex. He was nice. The Bay City Rollers. I loved the way they sang with Scottish accents and I do have a soft spot for Shang a Lang and Bye bye Baby.
I thought of a couple more Glam rock/70s acts while I was in the hairdressers- Sparks- very weird but some good songs. Number 1 Song In Heaven being my favourite. Also the awesome Suzi Quatro. I once got a detention for using my hockey stick like a guitar and busting out the moves to Devil Gate Drive- singing included.The nuns were not fans of Suzi Q.

I remember an art exam at school. We had to create our own album cover and I did Devil Gate Drive, which consisted of a path, a gate and a not very convincing Devil. And I wondered why he only gave me a D

Knew nothing about it until the girls mentioned it yesterday. Watched the 10 o'clock news for the first time in over a week last night.

I refuse to believe it until something more concrete comes out. Not relying on that rag as confirmation

What could be nicer than a special sausage butty without the sausage .
I am buzzing today ,I had an appointment with the doctor after a series of tests and all is well on the organ front ,he said my kidneys ( point of the whole exercise ) were fine a little bit thick in the walls and one level a bit too low but fine ,my prostrate is slightly larger than normal but the blood figures are fine and as I don't need to pee at every lamp post that seems OK .So now I have stop complaining about my health to the missus ,the problem is she encourages me -well I would say that being a man .

Talking to a mate tonight, whose wife is also suffering from Alzheimer’s. Anyway he was saying about how it’s would be nice to get people together just to chat, coffee/tea and cake etc on a regular basis as he tries to invite people to visit to help his wife. I’m thinking of setting something up in the pub so that people suffering or even just lonely older members in the village can have a day to get out and socialise…..,

It's heartbreaking. What that poor lad went through as a child is awful. Everton , as always, appear to be doing exactly the right thing. If he gets back k to anything like his previous best, we've got a good one.

Just seen it and will watch later. i hope he’s in a good place right now - he probably needs our support as much as we need an on form Dele. Seen the impact of childhood sexual abuse so much at work - literally lives ruined, so very sad.

My daughter lives in Standish and I have family in a few places around there .
I found it nice when I lived in Abram about 50 years ago .The house cost £ 2240 for a semi !!!
