Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

Typical mathematician, whereas we humanities types always look at different sides to a proposition.

Seriously it seems it depends on which side of your brain is your strongest that will determine if you are a numbers type (one answer) or a humanities type (daydreamer)
I must be an anomaly then because I'm both. Seriously.

I'm really good with numbers and am probably the absolutely worst daydreamer you'll ever know. I'm so bad I'm likely thinking about something else even as I'm typing this. lol

Is he a rat though T - do any modern footballers really care ?

Think about it this way mate. You go for a job and the person that hired you , that sold you the vision of how great it's going to be gets sacked the following day. Naturally that worries you a bit and you think how stable the situation is. Then another company , with much nicer working conditions and potentially better prospects comes along and makes you an offer. What you going to do ?
I agree. He was somebody contracted to another club looking to go somewhere on loan for 6 months. He had absolutely no allegiance to us. Totally unlike somebody like Ross Barkley who truly is a rat. The manager he was proposing to sign for had just been sacked, and a far better team came in with a counter offer. I don't blame the lad at all tbh. Some of the stuff being written about him in the Everton forum is just ridiculous.

Not sure how good he actually is, but seems to be able to play on the left or through the middle. Looks like a low cost alternative to Maupay (who looks totally bereft of confidence by the way) who will fill a gap until our financial situation hopefully improves.

I feel your pain. Both me and Mr F were 60 during lockdown and also had our 30th wedding anniversary so pretty much zero celebrations or trips away.
Cal and i were the same. It was during a proper lockdown too so couldn't even go to the pub on our birthdays. We made up for it with our anniversary when we stayed over in Padstow and went to Rick Stein's.

Morning all, back a bit early from our walk, Daisy didn't want to go very far today, not sure why but never mind.

Weather isn't great, it doesn't know if it wants to be sunny or rain today.

I bought some trainers last week, I needed some because the cheaper ones I bought for walking daisy had my big toe go through a couple of pairs, even after clipping my nails. I thought they were really nice my new ones but when I got home and looked at the receipt it said womens trainers.

However it's 2023 and I'm obviously woke because I'm wearing them anyway lol I think they're unisex at best. I have looked at them and looked at them and can't for the life of me see why they're womens lol sod it lol

have a good day peeps.
Have you checked in with Blue T. Think he likes to wear women's clothes on occasion. :)

Afternoon guys. It's a mistake to spend some time away from the forum as it takes an age to catch up.

Anyway, had some nice news this morning. One of my nephews messaged me to say his wife has finally given birth to a baby daughter. She was due when they came to the family lunch in Liverpool over 2 weeks ago, so I'm sure they're both relieved and delighted that it's over. They've been trying for years and in the end had a few goes at IVF, so I'm really pleased for them. His father was my brother who died of leukemia a couple of years ago and I know he'd have been made up with a granddaughter. He had 2 grandsons through his daughter. Another nephew is expecting his first child whilst I'm away on the cruise next month. He lives in Poland but we keep in regular touch by email so I better let him know that I'm going away.

It's a nice day today down here and the forecast for later is positive too, so I've decided to get stuff out of the freezer for a barbie later. have to make sure I post a pic or 2 for Jazzy. :p

Hope you all have a great day whatever you're up to.
