I don't do things by half like Freddo lol I actually put the latch on which is the biggest pain in the arse, next month i will latch on and keys in pocket until shopping inside lol

It has happened once before, that is why I put the latch on, according to my neighbour if it was on I wouldn't have been able to open it even with keys. Not sure how that works, it still closed.

I will definitely be more careful, don't always have an open window, the only window I have that actually open like that. I have a ground floor flat and have those open from the top, inside windows that are burglar proof. I don't open it very often, did I tempt fate lol lol

Hi everyone,

Some really bad news yesterday. My cousin passed away , she was only 2 years older than me and the only child of my mum's sister.

Needless to say mum was pretty upset.

Because the death was sudden ( she just went in her sleep) there will be a post mortem which is likely to delay the funeral until we are on holiday.

All very sad here.

Morning everyone ,

As Blue rightly says my condolences go out to the family of the worker killed at BMD - very sad.

Mrs J at the rescue shop today and lord above , it's dry so a quick visit to the gym and then a full day's gardening.

How Everton is it to have an easyish start to the season fixture wise , hardly buy anyone and when we do bring a player in he is injured and can't play for weeks , until we start to play the big boys.

Hope this doesn't come back to bite us on the bum.

@ValP hope all the family came home in one piece and @Terrarian , great to hear from you but , yes you are so damn unlucky mate.

Very sad to hear about the worker at BMD. I just hope it has been a tragic accident and there are no dodgy working practices going on there.
I was watching the Man Utd match last night. Good to see VAR is as competent as ever. I thought our decision was bad but the one given against Wolves was a shocker.
I had appointment 2 out of 3 at the dentist yesterday. Two elderly fillings replaced. One more to go.

Good morning everyone, I hope you are all well today. Yes @jazzy a dry day is v unusual so I think we too will be in the garden after we get back from the kennels. I don’t know about your gym, but the one I go to is usually pretty quiet with a definite 50/50 mix of people around our age and the young gym bunny types - nothing in between.
It’s so sad about the man at BMD. My dad always used to say there’s more people killed in the building trade than any other, and that was in 60s, 70s and though I’m sure things have improved from a H and S point of view I suppose there will always be the temptation to cut corners or, as you say @anjelikaferrett, let’s hope in this case, a tragic accident.
All back safely from Dublin thanks @jazzy with the biggest damage being done to their vocal chords and their wallets. I was shocked to hear about the number of times they were approached by people trying to sell them drugs, all (said in a factual and not xenophobic way) sounding Eastern European. Thank god they are relatively sensible people. The temple bar has a live webcam so my husband told me to check in on them and there they were, Guiness in hand waving at the camera - quite a surreal moment . Of course thanks to @Vegas Toffee Girl I am live webcamming a lot and still checking in on those bears!

Anchored by some islands today but can't recall the name. As you can see weather isn't great but forecast is better for later. Go ashore by tender today which is always a bumfight so I'll be leaving it until this afternoon when jts hopefully sunny.
