Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

Hello everybody. I have had a very lovely afternoon. The work chums and I decided to knock off early and go for a late lunch to meet up with our other friend who is currently on maternity leave. So we got to meet Eleanor, her 14 week old baby. She is adorable, such a cutie. It was very chilled and very relaxed - a good start to the weekend.

I'm going to Liverpool tomorrow. I think I've told you my brother and I are meeting up with our cousins - we are going for a mal at Elif (I think that's what it's called) but I'm fairly sure it will be a very boozy do.

The one-month-to-my-holiday-so-I'm-mostly-eating-dust diet is going very well, All will be undone tomorrow I suspect! I'll probably watch the match on Sunday with my brother. He's bought himself a giant telly, Smart TV as well - my Dad will be turnig in his grave 🤣

Glad you had a good time at the Rod concert @Ducans elbow and @Barnfred 55 I have to agree with @jazzy Tromso looks a bit rundown. However your holiday looks great. I think I could give peanut butter and marmalade a go @Terrarian - what do you spread first? The peanut butter or the marmalade?

Have a lovelt weekend folks x

I always put the peanut butter first as it's firmer and so easier to spread the marmalade/jam

Can't beat a pb&j/m sandwich, nice in a cinnamon bagle as well lol I use oily peanut butter not dry stuff like sun pat as well

Mrs J's just given me a nice surprise....................she's booked a weekend trip to Jersey to celebrate our 35th wedding anniversary.

Even more surprising ......................I'm invited!
I worked in Jersey for 10ys 1980-90, it was party central at the time, it’s still a very picturesque Island to drive around, but from what my mates tell me who are still there over half the pubs have closed since and very quiet nightlife, but J you will enjoy it especially if you are staying at the Grand hotel

We aren't. But been a couple of times and as before staying in St Brelades Bay. It's by far our favorite place on the island ( St Aubin a close 2nd) and really didn't like St Helier

Any of you following the Stephen Nolan story?

Is he even on your radar over there?
Hate the fella after he took a paycheck for an event in my local area, talked about how great a place it was, then went on to his show a few days later and called it a hell hole. And in general hes an antagonist to gives a platform to people like Jamie Bryson.

Happy to see him dragged through the mud. Although whats happened isn't a big deal with some false accusations in there from what i can see. Feel it's been jumped on because of the long rumoured nda.

Hope everyones keeping well.

Me too mate. After what the Beeb has been though, he admitted to sending pics.
The article I read was pretty sketchy.
He acquired a sexually explicit photo of some Z list celeb that I've never heard of and who has been convicted of sexual assault and then passed it around. How did he come by the photo?
And he's also supposed to have planted members of his team in the audience?
I gather that he is on both TV and radio over there
Having today seen a photo of him perhaps he's better advised to stick to radio.
Sounds thoroughly obnoxious.

He actually commented that the pics (same man, one flaccid and one erect) were on the net. OK. To share same image in a work email (allegedly) is questionable.

Re audience plants, He categorically denied ‘Producers’ were in the audience . As the Irish News re-stated, it was junior members of staff who were planted to ‘look for someone feisty’.
