Afternoon all, hope everyone is well. After the bitter disappointment of yesterday I’ve had a nice morning up at the kennels with a little psycho of a Jack russell , and a meeting with a beautiful horse - all good for the soul. Just to keep us on our toes son has decided to put his house up for sale as well as getting married next month so it’ll be all hands on deck to spruce up said property to show home standards ready for the estate agent next week. Who said retirement was relaxing?
How many more chances does Keane get? You are so right about Branthwaite @Armaghtoffee - he has to start on Saturday or I think the crowd will be baying for Keanes blood and Dyche will start to feel the wrath of the crowd. Can’t believe it’s my first home game of the season and once again I’m not particularly looking forward to going- how can Everton do this to us again. Desperately trying to be optimistic here.

Hi All!
I had headache and tummy ache over the weekend, so was down for the count....and it wasn't because of Everton lol Good thing I didn't watch the match who knows what condition I'd be in now!!
I have survived the hurricane..so far. There is some major flash flooding happening in our mountains right now. I got the emergency alert on my phone at 6am because I live on the down slope. Luckily Vegas has done a pretty good job of building flood control channels. There is a HUGE flood containment basin up the hill from me that prevents the water in this footage from reaching my area. Here is some video.
It's cool and overcast today, so I am heading back to the stable to fix the mud bog my horse is in right now. I know, Horse Mom problems.

Thank you! I am feeling better. For the people on the mountain above me, they knew for several days they would get a lot of rain. I haven't heard of any injuries or deaths there or elsewhere in Vegas. Flash flooding happens every year here, so most people prepare and know what to do when it happens.

I think DCL needs to leave Everton. I don't have anything against him, but the situation is not fixable anymore. Everton fans are out of patience with the club in general, so it doesn't surprise me that the fans booed him when he went off.
Something needs to change quick and I don't know what that is, but the tension in that stadium with the EFC fans had to be very bad yesterday.

My Mum, Sis, and Niece went to the Wirral for the next 2 days to visit some old friends and family, that frankly, Mum wont see again. They took a detour to Neston, where me and Sis were born, as Maddie, (niece) asked to see where we born. "At HOME!"
Anyrate saw the house, then decided if it was worth knocking on the door of Mum and Dads mates, and my childhood pal, Jonnie. "Is Jonnie coming out to play Mrs Booth?" This was 50 years ago when we moved. Little contact since.
Door answered, and Mum said "Its Barbara Roydo". "OMG!!!!! We heard about Brian, (late Dad), how is Marky?"
Just unprompted, unplanned, in the minute.
Just brilliant when Mum told me a few mins ago.
