Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

Is he local to Cornwall or is it a holiday bromance ,just thinking that if you two are loose in Cornwall the house prices will drop like a stone . o_O
From Portsmouth but lives on a narrow boat in Rugby now. He used to work not far from me though. He was a helicopter engineer in the navy and spent 4 years at the naval Air base near Helston.

I have the hangover from hell this morning and I made arrangements last night to meet up with him and another guy at 1.30 to go on the lash in Reykjavik. I have my credit card😀

Bloody hell that's going to cost you on a few fronts

Afternoon everyone,

Well what a day in the life of an Evertonian. I guess you could put your head in the sand and not want to think through the various scenarios but unfortunately that's not me.
There is real jeopardy here and a potential threat to the future of EFC but as is often the case there is also an opportunity. A smart investor might be able to pick up Everton , an historic club with a great ( if slightly mad ) fan base and an impressive iconic stadium relatively cheaply. Might be wonderful to be a rich plaything - who knows?

Apart from that angst not much going on. Popped into Ormskirk and got the suntan lotion and Euros and going to cut loads of grass this afternoon.

I worry about Fred's head and pocket for having a pub crawl in Rejkavik , scenery should be great though

I have been calmly telling myself all day that an Everton takeover is a sure thing. Yeah we will be passed around like a toy at a nursery but there will be a club despite the existential threat.

Liquidation is becoming appealing though.

I'd just give up football AT.

However there is zero prospect of Everton failing to exist. The worry is what happens in the meantime and what are the motivations of Moshiri's successor - asset strippers or plaything ?

£10 for a schooner. Not cheap. I got hit for the expensive round though. It was happy hour at the next 2 bars
Bad luck but at least your are still in one piece. I read an article earlier claiming that Iceland has the most beautiful women on the planet - and lots of them - were you too busy boozing to take part in the scientific exploration ?
